[Dragon Fightage]

The title ain't fitting.

I disagree with Imaku saying it doesn't loop very well. The start and the end is matching each other pretty nicely,

But as he also says, it's a very happy and somewhat comical tune. It doesn't fit very well with the title. To put it this way: A dragon is not the first that comes to my mind when hearing this.

Overall
Good for a video game and loops well, but change the title.

This is a very nice tune, and the melody around 1.30 I liked especially.
But... (and there is a but)
Can't you try using another program with better instruments?
The song looses some of it's feel and depth when everything sounds so metallic and programmed.

Very nice!

This song makes it very clear to me what kind of Fortress you are talking about.
Dark and foreboding, surrounded in clouds, fog and thunder.

I don't know if it's possible with the program you are using, but a little reverb on the instruments would make it so much better and give it more depth.

The song has the right atmosphere and fits the title well.
As musicBigman said below me, I think the drums could have a little more deepness and bass.

Overall it's a nice song which could fit in a game or movie without problems.
Good for building up tension.

Definitly worth it's score.

I love music with melody. Thats why I can't stand all that Techno-trance-dj-remix rubbish. This is very well built up and has a good and powerful structure.
All in all:
A worthy 10/10

Only thing that annoyed me was that it wasn't the exact right notes as in SM64.
I know you probably did this on purpose, relieving on the fact that is a REMIX.
I just found it a little annoying. A bit short too, but overall: GREAT!

It's not that easy to keep the notes perfect when you have a pitch modulating lfo set to sample&hold :'( (You'll probably only understand that if you know some half advanced synth programming)

Eh anyway, I could do better getting the notes right, yer right about that.

yes...

This is a good song for a last battle. The boss battle theme needs to be something heroic, but the absolutely final battle must be critical, intense, scary, and almost chaotic. This song fills it to the brim.

I'll tell you what I think of when I hear this song.

A giant city in the future. The sky is pink, and the giant sky scrapers are rising hundreds of feet above the ground. Between the buildings you can see spaceships flying through the city. Modern electronic and the recently invented power source "nuclear-electron energy" are dominating the machinery that drives the city and makes it run. Suddenly you see this giant ship that looks like a shark coming over the city and covering it in a dark shadow. It's one of the marines flagships on patrol. A lonely girl stands on the highest building and sees the ship coming straight against her with the sun in the background.

yeah... That describes it
